Follow Jönsson - The Great Hall and guestrooms

You are now in the Great Hall. It was once divided into one large room, where many feasts were held, and several smaller rooms.

The hall was once decorated with beautiful wall hangings, chandeliers and tables and benches. The finest glasses and plates were taken out for feasts. It was important to impress one’s guests! My fondest memory is of the double wedding of Ulfstand’s daughters, Beate and Sidsel. Everyone ate and drank for four days until they fell over. Everyone talked about that party for a long time afterwards!
