Exciting tours with inspiring guides
Join an exciting tour of the best preserved medieval castle in the Nordic region. Our tour guides wear medieval costume. You will learn how the castle was built and who has lived here, as well as how it has been used since the last resident moved out. And, of course, you will hear many fascinating stories about the place!
It is also possible to book a seated guided tour in Brygghuset, one of the outbuildings on the courtyard. There, you can sit in comfort as our guide takes you through a slideshow that brings the castle and its history to life. Seated guided tours are particularly appreciated by those who might find it too challenging to climb the castle’s old staircases.
All of our guided tours take approximately 50 minutes and can be taken in Swedish or English. We also offer some guided tours in German or sign language.
