Saint Nicholaus is standing at the gate of GLimmingehus.

St. Nicholas Eve at Glimmingehus

We dedicate an atmospheric, joyful, and educational evening to St. Nicholas—the inspiration for our Santa Claus!

In this unique setting, you can visit the courtyard market featuring local products, try your hand at Christmas crafts like candle dipping and making straw dolls, and—of course—meet St. Nicholas himself as he hands out gifts to the children. The Christmas goat might even make an appearance here and there…

In our atmospheric Roaster’s house from 1640, we serve mulled wine and gingerbread, hot dogs and coffee are also available for purchase.

PROGRAM:

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Candle dipping, making straw Christmas dolls, and writing wish lists with a quill and ink.

5:00 PM: Meet St. Nicholas.
