Follow Jönsson - The Master's Chamber

We are now in the master’s private chamber. It was no easy matter to find some time to yourself in the castle, what with all the commotion, but sometimes it was possible.

I used to retreat to this fine room, put the tub in front of the stove and take a lovely long bath. Alas, Ulfstand seldom respected my time for reflection. He often barged in and disturbed me, always with some important business to take care of in here – or so he claimed. I suppose that was the thing we quarrelled most over, whose room this actually was.
